By hosting a party at Yucandu Art Studio, you agree to the following:

To Book Your Party: A non-refundable deposit (which covers your first 8 guests) must be made to reserve your date and time.

Balance Payment:  Final payment is due 4 to 5 days prior to party.  Please call with final head count one week before party.  We do not keep your credit card information.

Project:  The guest of honor choose the project for everyone.  The project choice, which is subject to inventory, is needed between time of deposit and final head count payment.

Arrival Time:  The host family may arrive 15 minute prior to party start time. We want you there before your guests arrive and to go over any last minute details. (like will you be opening gifts at the party…)

Departure Time:  All guests are expected to depart when your party time ends.  Host family is allotted 15-20 minutes to gather belongings to head out.  The Yucandu Team has an allotted time to clean and reset for the next event.

Added Decor:  Added decorations are not necessary, but if you wish to add anything, please keep in mind there is little room and it may get paint on it.  A bouquet of balloons and a paper tablecloth for the cake is always a safe bet.

Outside Food:  Please do not bring meal type foods.  No pizza or burgers please.  Snacks or cupcakes work great.  Bottled water or juice boxes work best.  We do not have utensils available.  Please bring your own paper goods as well.  The party treat will be served at the end of the party.  We do have a refrigerator and freezer you are welcome to use.

Adult Only Parties:  You are welcome to bring wine or beer.  Please bring bottle openers and cups.  Please keep snacks to light finger foods.

Gratuity:  Our Yucandu team works so hard to make our party a success!  A tip is always appreciated for their service.

Drop Off:  Host parents and families are welcome of course.  However, because of space limitations, we encourage you to have your guests dropped off, rather than all their parents stay. 

Invitation Info:  Please let your guests know the start AND end time of your party on your invite and to wear painting clothes.  If you’d like to use our artwork in your invite, you are welcome to copy & paste the image above.  On your invitation, please word the time as example below:
Time:  Drop off 10am.  Pick up at noon please.
And don’t forget to wear your painting clothes:)

Cancellations:  All sales are final.  No refunds or credits will be issued for parties missed due to illness or other reasons.  (If the host family is ill or has emergency, a possible date change can be made.)

Absent Guest(s):  You may sit in for them OR you may choose a Party Voucher to use another day within one year.  The party voucher is good for ANY available party project in the same medium as your party level (IE: mosaic, collage or paint).  An hourly $5 per hour studio fee will apply in the open-studio.  You may give this voucher to anyone or use it yourself.  The voucher must be present to redeem.

Additional Policies:
Yucandu does not allow pets or firearms in the building.
Yucandu cannot be responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
Guests should not wear clothing that cannot be damaged by art supplies.  All guests will be encouraged to wear our aprons or paint shirts.
Yucandu reserves the right to refuse disruptive or bullying guests; no refunds will be issued.
