Make Your Own Valentines at Yucandu!
Love is in the air here at Yucandu Art Studio! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so if you or your child is looking for something especially heartfelt to give out as Valentines, why not give something, well, from the heart? Our entire Studio is awash is gorgeous shades of pink and red, with a wide variety of lovely Valentine’s Day crafts worthy of your Valentine just waiting to be made! Here’s why nothing beats the creative fun of handmade Valentines.
Kids’ Valentines Workshops at Yucandu
There’s a little bit of a lost art to making handmade Valentines—perhaps it’s the time or the mess that makes it such a unique way to express your feelings for someone. Back in the day, people really went all out when it came to making Valentines for their loved ones, and we want to capture that sentiment here at our Studio…especially for children!
Over the next couple of weeks, we’re offering two kids’ V-Day workshops using the thumbprint technique or our Gelli-Prints, which are as fun as they are cute. Check it out!
Hand-Made Valentines Workshop for Grades K-5th
Drop off the kids while they create thumbprint Valentines for the whole class and two teacher cards, too! Thumbprint Valentines are our favorite—and we have all new designs! Sweet! $38*

Drop off the kids while they create 24 Valentines with our amazing Gelli print-making supplies. The kiddos will crate some truly gorgeous and unique Valentines with Gelli prints! $38*

The kids take such pride and care with each and every Valentine they create, and they LOVE to give them to their teachers, too. Plus, we make it easy. It can be difficult to get kids to stay focused on making so many Valentines at home, but here at Yucandu, they are so incredibly focused for two whole hours. AND you get to leave the mess behind because we’ll take care of that, too!

Valentine’s Crafts for Adults
Of course, we have plenty of Valentine’s crafts for adults, as well! Make your own cards to send to loved ones, decoupage a box and fill it with treats and love notes, or mosaic/paint a frame for a picture of you and your Valentine! We have so many fun and heartfelt ideas to share with you. And, as always, no appointment is necessary for our open-studio! Just drop on by and get started on your very own handmade Valentines!
