Every lady needs a night out to spend with her gal pals. Why not make it interesting by throwing art into the mix? Whether you just need an evening away from the kids or you need an excuse to have fun with your girlfriends, join us on Wednesday, Oct. 5 for a night of fun and creativity at Yucandu. It’s Girls’ Art Night Out!
What’s Girls’ Art Night Out?
Girls’ Art Night Out is your chance to spend an evening creating three unique art projects while noshing on yummy snacks, sipping on your favorite beverage, and chatting with other awesome women. It’s a great opportunity to take a load off while doing something creative!
What Will I Be Making?
You’ll be making three ADORABLE projects at Girls’ Art Night Out.
Bird Collage on Vintage Wood Block. Using our templates and fabulous papers, you’ll create a colorful (and cute!) bird collage on a reclaimed wood block. Fun fact: Kim has been collecting these boards from a house in Tower Grove that her son is rehabbing. They’re over 100 years old!
Mosaic China Switch Plate. Have you ever wanted to learn how to use a wet saw and grinder?
Well, this is your chance to do so! You’ll design and create a mosaic with our selection of gorgeous vintage china pieces that have been hand-selected just for you! We’ll even grout it for you after you’re done!
Pocket Watch Pendant. A heartfelt gift and potential heirloom, this pocket watch-inspired project lets you take a photo or image and turn it into a priceless keepsake. If you’d like to incorporate a photo, send it as a JPEG to [email protected] and we’ll resize it and print it on acid-free paper with permanent ink. Just let us know if you want color or black & white.
What Should I Bring?
Yourself! Even better? You and a group of friends! We’ll provide the supplies, chocolate and snacks…you bring your favorite beverage! That could be soda, wine, beer—doesn’t matter.This event is BYOB, so the choice is yours.
Girls’ Art Night Out will also feature a Pop-Up Shop from Paisley Boutique, so you can shop all the season’s must-haves right here in our shop!
