Creative down time for artsy kids & teens. Single-day workshops for grades 1-5 & 6-12 on Tuesdays thru Fridays at 3:45-5:45pm. SAVE when you sign up for 8 or 16 classes at one time. Quantity discount applies to sibling sign-ups too!

Block Printing—Discover not one BUT TWO techniques of block printing. Using professional water-soluble ink, create your very own holiday gift tags.

Paper Making/Casting—Voted as the absolute favorite Yucandu workshop! It’s SO MUCH FUN. Don’t forget to tell your parents how much you’ll be learning, not to mention the fabulous handmade paper you’ll have afterwards.

Pastels—Is it painting or drawing? We’ll let you decide after you’ve finished your still life or landscape. Choose your favorite piece to have professionally matted. Taught by Kim Harris, Co-Owner and pastel artist.

Wool Felting—The newest craze in the world of arts and crafts. You will be amazed at how easy and fun this is! You’re finished product will be a fabulous felted wall-hanging. (Think: Valentine Gift!!)

Marbling Paper—Learn the time-honored art form of marbling paper. We can already hear the “ooohs” and “aaahs” before you’ve even begin creating this colorful and versatile paper.

Book-Making—Learn something you can use and appreciate for life! No kidding—journals, scrapbooks, even special books for your homework!

Watercolor Painting—Leaving white, lifting color, using resists, portraying precipitation…these are just a few of our favorite things to teach YOU!

Plein Aire Painting—The masters did it and so can you! Simply put—you’ll be painting OUTSIDE. Learn the tricks of the trade and paint your own mini masterpiece. Wire Figure Sculpture—Build your armature from heavy duty wire and a sturdy metal base. Then let the imagination run. Add layers of “junque” jewelry and more wire—in all gages and colors. A challenging and rewarding project.

Casting Cement Leaves—You’ll never look at leaves quite the same again. You will be taking giant leaves and making them a permanent art piece in your family’s garden or home. All sculptures will be exhibited at the Art & Air Show the first weekend in June. See www.artandair.com for fair info.
